Legislative Reception

A few weeks ago local legislators and candidates had the chance to mix and mingle with folks from TCH and sister agencies at a Legislative Reception hosted by TCH. It was an important chance for them to learn more about the needs and obstacles that people in the disability community face. We had a pretty good selection of present/future legislators the including Representative Ed Ableser, Ray Speakman, David Butler, John Kavanaugh, Augustine Bartning and, a family friend, Senator Jerry Lewis.

Were loosing one of our refuges. We've been going up north for about 2-3 years every few months. We won't be able to do so anymore. And so as a goodbye I thought I'd do a photo shoot at one of the places we passed by many times on the way to happy memories.

I've been on hiatus from doing photos for Desert Rose Theatre but we came back yesterday in a big way. The troupe is doing a steam-punk version of Alice In Wonderland which in and of itself is exciting. Due to a series of fortunate events, an exquisitely animated actress and  challenges that forced us to be inventive I think I've gotten some of my best work thus far! More to come.

A Good Family A Good Day

Selects of Cousin Jamie and her new husband Jared from their wedding reception. What a sweet little family. Jamie is very brave to take on a lot of kids at once. Instant family!!! We're very happy for them. :)
