A few years ago I passed along an art piece to a dear friend who felt he could use it as part of a motif in one of the rooms of his house. I, strangely, have a hard time letting pieces go. I invest so much into them that the somewhat become a part of me...anyways here are some shots of that piece. Now I can finally release it fully.

It's been nearly 1/3 of a year since I posted last. This year will easily have the least amount of posts since I started "The Idealist Photo Blog" back in 2010. That being said I have a feeling posts will pick back up again and will start to come much more regular with some of my best work, I'm hopeful, likely ahead. You can be busy, tired and lazy or busy, tired and engaged and I've chosen the later.

The one consistent muse in my life is always music. It pushes and pulls me along. So I thought a music related post would be a good entrance back into sharing photos. Here are some recent ones.
