In The Bleak Midwinter
In The Bleak Midwinter became one of my favorite Winter songs while we lived in Flagstaff. There's something special about snow and ice for a desert dweller. We're in awe of it...and then we like to leave it and go home. But the beauty of a frozen world is entrancing to me especially from a visual perspective.
Park City, UT
Whenever we go to Utah we try to stop by the Red Banjo Pizza restaurant in Park City. I'm able to get Root Beer (my one to two times per year to dink soda), the kids love the town and we generally have some good fun. Someday maybe we'll have a chance to ski. But until then it's a great way to relive a fun trip Hattie and I took a few years ago.
Harris' In Utah
My wife had the great idea to have a whirlwind trip to Utah. We had a lot of fun with Aunts and Uncles and Cousins for a few days and did A LOT of driving through beautiful but cold land.
American Eagle
I got another shot at an Eagle, to use a crass phrase. Taking some winter shots and there it was. It did get a little silly and then it was gone. They are beautiful birds. Hopefully someday I'll have equipment good enough to really capture one of them...cause I couldn't have gotten closer in person on this go round.
