One of the benefits of taking the kids on these photo excursions is that they get to see what I love and at the same time I have great little photo subjects on the trip. I can get the nature and structural shots that I love while at the same time doing the portrait and human interests shots that catalog their lives. In that way this blog has become a kind of photo journal for our family.
