San Xavier Color Shots
These are a few more of the same place. It's strange going to these missions. It feels like another world. Maybe if I were catholic it wouldn't feel this way but it really feels a bit like a culture shock, like being in old Mexico. One of these shots really reminded me of the cover of The Eagles "Hotel California" album.
Another point of trivial interest: the I-19 that takes you down to San Xavier is one of the only sections of road in the US that uses the metric system. I had heard it existed but just happened upon it in going for this shoot.
